Kotappakonda temple dedicated to lord shiva, which situated at a holy hill in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. This temple is called a Trikuteswara Swamy temple or Trikoteswara Swamy temple
About Kotappakonda Temple:
Kotappakonda temple considered a very famous and popular temple. This temple appeared on the holy hill with three peaks (you can watch in any direction). And as per Puranas, these three peaks described as the Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva. So that’s why this temple also called Trikutadri.
There are 4 temples located in the temple complex, one located at the hill base, other at an elevation, and the main temple located at the height of 1500 feet. As per the Puranas, this is the place where Lord Shiva himself selected for meditation.
History Of Kottapakonda Temple:
As per the legend, one lady who is the great devotee of Lord Shiva to worship and offering flowers and fruits in this temple. One day the lady coming to the temple, a crow troubled that lady by seeing the fruits. Then the lady got angry and also cursed the crow that it cannot enter the temple premises
Even today also you can see that no crows are present around the temple premises.

Main Festivals Celebrated At Kotappakonda Temple:
Mahasivarathri is the main festival that celebrated in the temple. As part of the Shivaratri festival, devotees put Prabhas of over 100 feet high and carried on lighted bullock carts. For this festival, Lakhs of people visit the Sri Trikoteswara Swamy temple for Lord Shiva darshan.
